We are a multi-disciplinary studio specialising in elevated interior design and lifestyle creative.
Fuelled by a love of creativity and an appreciation for elevated living, Marx & Co is a destination for design thinking and innovative ideation.
Founded by Lou Marx, Marx and Co has an interconnected and multi-disciplinary skill set which spans across the physical and non-physical environments.
Lou started her career in broadcast radio and quickly gained experience in a plethora of creative industries including advertising, journalism which included radio, magazine, TV and online, creative writing, marketing, branding and design. In 2019, just a few months after Lou’s first child, daughter Bodhi was born, she left her position as head of brand and marketing for a well known personal brand to pursue her own dreams of opening up a creative agency. The agency focused on building businesses from the brand up with creative brand strategy, design and content creation services.
After a successful few years in business Lou made the decision to close down the company, and take her creative skills offline and into the world of physicality and materiality by studying interior design.
A passion for property and realising its full potential fuelled this endeavour, however what Lou realised throughout the education process was that so many of the design principals she was learning about, were completely relevant to all the other work she’d done prior.
No matter the project, it all came down to one thing - creativity.
Creativity is the backbone of any idea. It carries the vision and turns ideas into reality.
If you have a process for creativity, then you can create almost anything.
With this application and the cumulation of years of multi-faceted experience, Marx & Co is able to support business owners and home owners from any and all touch points.
We approach life through an elevated lens with the understanding that function, when met with style, can create something truly extraordinary for those who can perceive it.
